There’s no arguing that Italian crooners have made an enormous contribution to American popular culture and they have left an indelible mark. Larry Wallin and Rick Barretta have been keeping the legacy alive for over 15 years performing their popular act, “A Tribute to Italian Singers”, in Las Vegas nightclubs, at corporate events, and leading venues from San Francisco, St. Helena, Pleasanton, Livermore, Monterey, Palm Springs and many other cities in between.
Wallin & Barretta’s no-holds-barred, sold-out performances at Massimo Ristorante in Walnut Creek has become a popular destination for fans of these iconic entertainers – where they reprise the songs by Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Bobby Darin, Louie Prima, Perry Como, Frankie Avalon, and others in the style of the original singers.
Their four-piece band of world-class musicians accompanies Wallin & Barretta, featuring Musical Director and Pianist, Kelly Park. Park is a graduate of the Berklee School of Music and has performed all over the world with renowned vocalists. His arranging talents enhance Wallin & Barretta’s musical experience. Saxophonist Tony Malfatti, Drummer Thomas Moran and an Upright Bassist complete the group.
